M A D I S O N _G R A Y | deep_SIGHT

Inner-chamber picture music

Light and sound
Silence . . .
Roar.

Orb-blinding light
rising;
Void-stirring sound
stretching,
rolling,
still, ongoing.

A mental event
of ocean and sun,
the moves of a
synchronous
counterpoint,
with wonder,
thunder,
figurative lightning,
lightening/enlightening
heart and soul;
crash, thud, crack,
rumble
rumble rumble
wash ashore . . .
wash ashore . . .
wash ashore . . .

Sounds of a lateral
landscape,
blissfully desolate
noisy and still,
moving and still
still moving,
gently, softly,
powerfully . . .
endlessly . . .
inexorably . . .
still
moving still.

The gentle sun,
mighty,
casts its slow
presence
over this water
of motion/sound;
its unconnected
light
yet connected
seems somehow
separate
from the diminutuve
orange fireball
that rises
from the
razor-sharp
liquid
horizon line.

Celestial and aquaeous
figures of
inner-chamber
picture
music
are part of me forever
now;
the image
of a rising sun's
first slivery glimmer
above the wave
and waves
and waves
and ways
of mutual light,
deep
stillness, reverie
and awe.

Methodically,
unhurried,
the sun traverses its
ascentvertical;
and ocean washes,
watches,
washes,
horizontal
it rips,
strikes,
roars,
crashes,
and assembles
its eternal forces.
