Wings
The Spirit moved me and I turned right . . .
Upward into snow mountains of freedom
.......and a sky-high divide;
On light gray wings in gray winged light
I'm aloft, in a light-steel bird (post-1903)
An infinite panorama of still-stirring wonder propels feelings beyond the physical planet I see free.

I see ground paintings on the form-space field below . . .
Drawings, words, motions and emotions of incredulity
.......mix cloud-like thick inside;
A musical roar of primal power flutters gentle and low
In the heart (a single-engine Cessna 152)—
Monochrome whites and coffee-bean grays "caught" in a magical medium of Miles Davis-like blue.

It's twilight, and thought-moments have wings
Yes, your heart's in tune with infinite things,
and every fiber of your being . . .

is

in

F L I G H T !
"In the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice."
Psalm 63:7l
