Geo Context: The southeast-northwest line of the house site plan (magenta line) parallels the significant southeast-northwest line of Washington D.C.'s idealized diamond boundaries.
The corresponding southeast-northwest line parallels the other significant boundary-line of the D.C. diamond and defines the Dante Monolith's orientation.
The north-south line extending from the North-Star Telescope of the Dante Monolith passes midway between the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol.
The affinity with Theo van Doesburgh's rotated grid painting (inset) reinforces the importance of de Stijl within the aesthetic and intellectual structure of the project;
