Geo Context: The private northwest-southeast line of the house site plan (magenta line) parallels the significant public northwest-southeast line of Washington D.C.'s idealized diamond boundaries (magenta line).
At a right angle to the magenta line, the corresponding northeast-southwest line of the house site plan, which runs parallel to the Dante/Telescope Monolith, parallels the other significant boundary-line of the D.C. diamond and defines the Dante/Telescope Monolith's orientation.
The north-south line extending from the North-Star Telescope of the Dante/Telescope Monolith passes midway between the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol.
The affinity with Theo van Doesburgh's rotated grid painting (inset) reinforces the importance of de Stijl within the aesthetic and intellectual structure of the project;
